I don't know where or how yet, but here's the general theme and idea. The Art Show will be called "No Flash Photography" The cute little twist will be that all the artwork will have something to do with light. I would really like to see a lot of artwork incorporating actual lights, such as LEDs, lamps, or whatever your imagination can handle. I think this theme would be a nice little challenge away from the normal old paint on canvas, ink on paper, or even normal photography. I've been trying to figure out how to draw the human body properly and paint. The only advice I have on my side is what my aunt told me years ago, "Don't use black, make your own." I think I'm doing not bad with the bodies, but the faces... I can't fucking paint the faces. in the end it still looks like crap no matter hown much work I put into it. I don't want to be drawing cartoons all my life.
